Yuletide! 2018!
Dear Yuletide author
Thank you so much for offering to write a Yuletide fic for me! I'd be excited to read whatever you write, so just take my thoughts below as some out-loud musings and speculations. Just one thing, though: I'm not really keen on explicit or gratuitous sex or violent scenes, though it's fine when it's part of a story and not just as the main attraction. Hope that helps!

While the series was fascinating for the Nam Shin and Nam Shin III comparison, I keep wondering what was going through Laura's mind while she created Nam Shin III. She is clearly a brilliant inventor and scientist, but creating a robot that looks exactly like your child is quite an extreme step. I'd love a fic from her POV about this, either while she was creating Nam Shin III (and Nam Shin I and II), or while she was waiting for Nam Shin to wake up from his coma.
Or even, an AU where she didn't die and therefore had the chance to see a future with both her sons, and it's probably one where she is the top robotics expert in the world. It'd be interesting to see how she rationalises her decision then.
Goblin (K-drama)
How did Sunny finally forgive Wang Yeo? It can't be easy to let go, knowing he killed her, her family and her brother. Since Sunny remembered everything, how did she live on from the time Kim Shin disappeared, to the time she said farewell to Wang Yeo and then to the point when they met after she died?
Alternatively, how did Wang Yeo fare? He continued living(?) with Kim Shin after Ji Eun-tak died, each of them missing the loves of their lives. What was their life like?
Nirvana in Fire
After the events of the series, once everything is settled, Xia Dong (maybe with Nie Feng) and Nihuang make a trip to Mt Langya to mourn Mei Changsu. This can be a fic where Mei Changsu was actually not dead, as hinted at in the epilogue. To keep the secret, Nihuang and/or Xia Dong leave Da Liang forever (which explains why there's hardly anything about them in Nirvana II) and live elsewhere. Or Mei Changsu is really dead and so Nihuang adopts Fei Liu. Or not? Just a fic from the viewpoint of the women when everything is over and they have to go on with life.

This is such a tiny fandom on AO3 that I'm glad for any fic, really. Still, I wonder how Xiaoyanzi and Yongqi started their lives together after leaving the palace. Did they ever regret it? And how did they deal with the news later that Qianlong had died?
