When TY was beating up MSF's shooter (after he got shot protecting Zuo Hong Ye), Jack's nearby, reflecting on ways to make it through torture... from prior experience as both torturer and torturee. Dark, Jack, dark.
Oh, nice, I like dark Jack. There are a few ficlets with dark Jack on tumblr, but it will be cool to read about it in the novel.
