So I was checking my email at the computer placed inside the reception area at work today, and the door opened, and a client came in. I looked up in enquiry; he avoided my gaze and instead, his hand went to the little bell placed on the reception table, right in front of where I was sitting, and dings for service.
You know what? I was sitting right there! You could have have just said "Hi", "Excuse me" or even just "Where's (receptionist)?" Instead, you tried to get my attention with a bell. The bell is for when the reception area is unattended, all right? You're just lucky my boss came along before I could take exception to your rudeness. I can tell you are not a people person, asshole.
