Internship finally, finally ended, and I:
1) slept a lot;
2) cleared desk of year-old correspondence that I'd always meant to get to;
3) went to the gym; and
4) watched Red 2. I was mainly there for Lee Byun Hun, though Helen Mirren was enjoyable too. The plot's not supposed to make sense in these kinds of movies, so I didn't pay much attention to it, just sat back and watched one set-piece of action and banter after another.
ETA: I did manage to catch Pacific Rim a couple of weeks back, which was kind of fun if and only if you think of it as a giant robot movie. As a movie, it didn't score points for: portrayal of women, Asians including Hong Kongers who don't get speaking parts, gwailo pretending to be Chinese mafia, exotic Chinese tonics, non-representation of South America (I was mentally ticking a list in my head), and blue-tinted hair. Oh, and the aliens looked a bit recycled too. Rows upon rows of teeth have got to be passé by now, haven't they?
