I watched Maleficient two weeks (I think) ago and How to Train a Dragon 2 on Sunday. And now there are no other movies I want to watch.

Do I want to watch a weepie about two young people who have the spectre of death hanging over them (I only saw the trailer for The Fault in Our Stars (but great title)) and who fall in love, etc, etc, etc? No. Because (a) I hate crying; (b) part of the angst is, of course, that these are young people who ought to have been into the prime of their lives and yet are not - yeah; and (c) this is primarily a movie about two people. Yeah.

Maleficient was a nice re-telling in a rather rational way, though my view has been that fairy-tales ought to be at least a little irrational and a little unfair, even sinister. Well. I spent 90mins staring at Angelina Jolie's cheekbones. Nothing rational about that.

How to Train a Dragon 2, which I was anticipating since last year: did not disappoint. I was pleased to see that despite a few spoilers appearing via earlier trailers, there were still surprises. The ending was more of a crowd pleaser but ok, no great objections, as I just enjoyed it for the dragons.

I loved fault in our stars - but I also cried my eye out so yeah - I think it would be wise for you to avoid it.
