This time I've requested for fics in Tokyo Crazy Paradise, The Changeover, Journey to the West and Uzumaki.
I love gen fics and while I do like romantic fics, I usually prefer romantic fics where the couple is established and they are trying to know each other better. But gen fics that explore the world that the characters are in, and the different relationships that result with the people around them, are what really makes me excited.
I'm not keen on explicit sex scenes and non-con themes are a definite no. (Although given the fandoms I've requested, reference to underage sex is perhaps inevitable. So I'm prepared for that. More under the cut.)
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
If you are a fan of TCP, you are clearly a person with excellent taste. ^__^
This is probably where issues of underage sex come in, given that in canon, Tsukasa and Ryuji are only 14 years old (!). While I don't quite see Tsukasa being interested in sex while she's 14 (my headcanon has her grabbing Ryuji when they're about 20 and ahem, 'sparring'), sometimes passion and events can get the best of us. They are unnaturally mature for their age, so *shrugs*
What I would really like, though, is some reference to Tsukasa's personal identification as a man while clearly not rejecting that she's biologically a woman, and how she adapts to it given that she's in a relationship with Ryuji. Perhaps it would be especially interesting where she discusses it with Meiko, who as a physician with a vested interest in seeing that Tsukasa make a couple of it with Ryjuji, might be gently pushing her towards certain conclusions. Or perhaps Tsukasa would be totally oblivious to Meiko's subtle 'hints'!
The Changeover
There's not enough Changeover fic in the world, as I'm sure you would agree. I'm intrigued by Laura's and Sorry's varying view of the world, and also how differently each uses magic/witchcraft in their lives. I wonder how Laura's eyes are opened more and more to what she has never seen before, and I wonder how Sorry slowly reconciles himself with his past.
Again, this is probably where issues of underaged sex come in, since Laura is only 14. From canon, though, it looks like they have decided to wait, given that there's still so much going on in their lives. But it all depends on the fic itself.
Xi You Ji - Journey to the West
My main reason for requesting this is: we never really see Wukong and the White Dragon talk to each other in canon. Of course, one's a horse, but he's also a dragon prince who can magically change his form. Are there any late night conversations about mutual acquaintances, as Wukong seems to know the dragon king of the east, etc, or do they talk about how frustrating and difficult it is to shepherd San Zang through a demon-infested land? Of course, it could easily be a scene where the White Dragon transforms to help fight off demons and Wukong is all "whoa, heavy firepower!". ^_^
Uzumaki
I'm afraid I wouldn't help requesting a fic when I saw that this was offered. I'm not really a fan of horror manga (or series, or movies, or anything really) but somehow I found Uzumaki to be creepy rather than scary. I'm wondering what happens in the future once the curse has run its course - does it come back? - but really, any fic would be fascinating to read.
Just some wild thoughts. Nonetheless, please feel free to write whatever you feel is most right. Thank you again!
