I haven't read the novel yet. I suspect, from my feelings about this universe, I'd probably throw the book across the room. Some things are better on screen, as you can just admire the pretty and avoid thinking of weird implications. So yes, I love the pretty. The hair is awesome.
I keep thinking of the poor palace maids who prostrate themselves whenever someone higher ranked comes by ... for eternity! Even if you were a lowly servant in the mortal realm, at least it ends sooner or later, y'know?
