RL. And yeah. I do have an RL journal, but updating there always makes me feel extra self-conscious, like Attention: Updating My Life Now. Perhaps it's because I've had this journal for much longer.

Apparently doing my pre-bar exam course means four-day weekends as tutorials happen only from Tuesday to Thursday. Well. I study a bit. And then I play Hay Day on my phone. And then I read a case. And then I read a fic. And so on.

I also... went to a commencement ceremony for the second time in my life. Or was it the second time? I mean, the first time I graduated, I'm pretty sure I went to the commencement ceremony, yes? I recall the mortar board, the graduation gown and stuff. Though that could have been simply for the photo session, which happened before I got my degree. Well, I have a fancy photo of me in a photo studio wearing the gown, so that part happened.

Tutorials are a mixture of fascinating and boring; the tutors are practitioners who are either very gentle with their charges or couldn't be bothered to go into depth when most people in the tutorial group are clearly eager to finish and go home/go party, OR they they are super-conscientious and go through everything in detail OR they tell war stories aka "I once had this client who..." 's all learning experiences.

I'm nerdy? stodgy? enough to be a bit annoyed at my tutorial mates who try not to ask questions in class, not because they have no questions but because they'd rather be done with the tutorial asap. I ask what I really want to know but I don't want to be the only person asking questions.

Or maybe there're other reasons. The other day one of my tutorial mates asked if I wasn't scared off by the Advanced Corporate Practice tutor. My response was "Huh?" The tutor in question was a bit exacting, maaaybe even stern, but scary didn't even come close. I would not have thought that anyone would feel scared but apparently this particular tutor "hath made someone cry in class".

I'm exceedingly boggled. And suspect I'm being played with. Weird bunch. My mental soundtrack during tutorials, other than "Ah, I should take this case into account too", is "Seriously?"

Oh well. I'll just keeping working on my end.
