issenlloAt this point my headcanon is a total jumble of the animated series, the novel and the TV show. Which makes it confusing when writing fic. Oh, well.
Others do it better:
I'm Going Out (Gonna Make A Name For Me And You), Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian, helping smaller sects, they do social work, the state of the cultivation world, by cosmicmilktea. It's slow burn but it's also very satisfying.
climbing up that coastal shelf, Jin Ling's POV, sect leader, family with Jiang Cheng, Lan Sizhui and Wei Wuxian, remembering Jiang Yanli by Sour_Idealist. It is so good, adroitly executed.
anyway, here's wuji, Lan Jingyi's POV, music and music cultivation, growing up, relationship with Lan Sizhui, by kakikaeru. Also by same author, ok, jiujiu, Jin Ling's POV, being sect leader, (not so background) Lan Sizhui/Lan Jingyi. I hadn't realised how much I love fics that have such a good, measured pacing and solid characterisation.
